The Dual Shock 3 is the new innovative PlayStation 3 controller from Sony with rumble feature. The standard PS3-controller shipped with the PlayStation 3 has no rumble feature and the quality of the controller is poor in comparison with the quality of the new Dual Shock 3 controller available worldwide. On June 12th 2008 Sony will release a Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle with a 80GB PS3 and the Dual Shock 3 controller.
As there is still no American release date for the Dual Shock 3 controller, more and more gamers import their controllers from Japan. At CES 2008 Sony has announced that Kojima Productions’ Metal Gear Solid 4 for PlayStation 3 is a PS3-exclusive. They also announced that MGS 4 supports the new Dual Shock 3 version of the SIXAXIS. Metal Gear Solid 4 will be running at 1080 p and the next Metal Gear Solid will be a PS3-exclusive as well.
