Imported Dual Shock 3 reviews and comparisons
January 18th, 2008 by BillyC
Since there’s still no releasedate for North America yet gamers from the US are importing their Dual Shock 3 PlayStation 3 controller from eBay, Play-Asia, YesAsia and other importshops. Most reviewers and videobloggers say that it’s worth the extra bucks and that it’s just too good to wait until Spring 2008 before Sony releases the rumbling Dual Shock 3 in North America.

Yo BillyC, just to comment, nobody from Sony said that Dualshock couldn`t work with Sixaxis, it was the fact that Immersion the company that owns the patent on Rumbling, is partly owned by Microsoft. As a result Immersion had a lawsuit with Sony on the Dualshock being used on the PS2. This was still going on as the PS3 was being released. Once they settled this, a new deal deal recently stuck between Sony and Immersion and VOILA we now have a new Dualshock3 controller to use. I think it was a MS stall tactic to only have Rumbling and wireless for the XBox360 for a year or so.
where do u get it at???
